To celebrate the life and legacy of Leonard Soloway, who passed away at the age of 93 on December 11, 2021, the OutMuseum is proud to share the documentary Leonard Soloway's Broadway. This invigorating, moving tribute to the late Broadway legend was filmed while he was in the midst of mounting his final stage musical Tappin Thru Life - still prolific and creatively charged at the age of 90 - and demonstrates without a doubt how his devotion to the theatre was instrumental in dazzling audiences, launching careers, and crafting a history that will stand the test of time. In a career that spanned more than 70 years, Soloway helped bring to the stage nearly 150 productions that collected more than 40 Tony Awards, 21 Drama Desk Awards, and 2 Pulitzer Prizes.
